Venue Update: FIFA Women's World Cup 2023

FIFA have today confirmed that the Matildas v Republic of Ireland fixture originally scheduled for the Sydney Football Stadium will now take place at Stadium Australia, 20 July 2023, due to increased demand for tickets.

Fans who have already purchased tickets to Australia’s inaugural match will be notified by email that the match has been relocated and their tickets will remain valid at Stadium Australia.  

The SFS will now host six FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 matches:

JULY 23: France V Jamaica 

JULY 25: Colombia V Korea Republic 

JULY 28: England V Denmark

JULY 30: Germany V Colombia 

AUGUST 2: France V TBC 

AUGUST 6: Round of 16
